Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Manning Web Company Inc. (“Manning Web Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use this website, manningwebcompany.com.
Who we are: Manning Web Company Inc., 329 Howe St, Unit #754, Vancouver, BC V6C 3N2, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form on this website.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name, email address, phone number, and business details you choose to provide through the contact form.
- Answers submitted through client onboarding forms, including business, service, budget, and tracking details you choose to share.
- Details you provide when booking a call through our scheduling tool (Calendly), which handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically:
- Website usage data through Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and interactions such as using our free tools, submitting a form, or opening the booking window. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
- Basic technical signals processed by Cloudflare, which hosts this site, for security and delivery.
- Cloudflare Turnstile signals (such as IP address and browser characteristics) on some interactive tools, used solely to tell people apart from bots. Details are in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.
Free tool inputs: The Profit Calculator and Website Planner run in your browser; the numbers and answers you enter are not sent to us or stored by us. The Landing Page Auditor sends the page address you enter to our server so the page can be fetched and scored; audit inputs are used to run the audit, not to build marketing lists.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and discuss services.
- To prepare proposals and set up advertising campaigns, tracking, and reporting for clients.
- To understand how the website is used and improve its content, tools, and marketing performance.
- To evaluate lead sources and measure which pages and tools lead to inquiries and booked calls.
- To keep the site secure and prevent automated abuse.
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC PIPA), we rely on your consent (express when you submit a form or book a call, implied for routine website analytics) and on purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate. For visitors in the EU or UK, our legal bases are consent and legitimate interests in operating and improving the site.
Analytics and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4. Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages and tools are used; see our Cookie Policy for the specific cookies and your opt-out options, including the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell it.
Form submissions
When you submit a form on this website, your answers are delivered to Manning Web Company by a third-party form delivery service (Web3Forms) and arrive as an email. Submitted information is used only to provide and discuss services, and is not sold or used for unrelated marketing.
When information is shared
Information is never sold. It may be shared only with:
- Service providers used to operate the site and business: hosting and security (Cloudflare), form delivery (Web3Forms), scheduling (Calendly), and analytics (Google). Each processes data for those purposes under its own privacy terms.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect legal rights.
- A successor business, if Manning Web Company is reorganized or sold, under the same privacy commitments.
International transfers
We are located in Canada. Some service providers listed above (such as Google and Cloudflare) may process data in the United States or other countries under their own safeguards and privacy terms.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it. The site is served over HTTPS, hosted behind Cloudflare, and access to submitted information is limited to authorized personnel. No online system is completely secure, so information is provided at your own risk.
Your rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Access - ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct - ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete - ask us to erase information you have submitted, subject to legal or operational requirements.
- Withdraw consent - opt out of analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy) or ask us to stop using your information for a given purpose.
- Complain - raise concerns with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the BC Information and Privacy Commissioner; we would appreciate the chance to address it directly first.
We aim to respond to requests within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
